Tomillo Foundation is a private, non-profit, non-denominational and independent entity that was born in 1984 with the purpose of contributing to the social improvement and development of the person. In Tomillo, a multidisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers works who carry out the different programs aimed at children, adolescents and the family, as well as training, orientation, social and labor intermediation and entrepreneurship, in Madrid. The Tomillo Foundation has been managing the ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INTEGRATION PROJECT since 2009. This is a project that promotes the development of self-employment initiatives, thus contributing to overcoming obstacles that the immigrant population may encounter.The Entrepreneurship Program has extensive experience in the field of entrepreneurship and especially with vulnerable populations such as the migrant community. Analyzing the data in our Follow-up Report, we see that almost 20% of the participants in the last 3 years belong to the new immigrants group, which reflects the success in prioritizing this group by the Program and the Tomillo Foundation.
