This series of analyses offers a synthesis around the question of how to overcome the fear of the other by better valuing his contributions. Many Belgian citizens see immigration as competition on the job market and in the housing sector, as well as a deterioration of the education and social security system. The observations that we synthesize show that it is possible to make better use of migration while overcoming social dissension. We insist on the need to be informed, because when we judge without knowing, we condemn without proof. It is up to the receiving country to organize the reception and integration of the populations concerned to facilitate the integration of migrants into employment, housing and school. One of the historical figures of migrants is the entrepreneur. It is singularly visible and strikes the imagination. It is seen as contributing directly to the economic growth of host countries and the creation of jobs.
